Velvet Bar

Established in 2005 after the long running success of Velvet Restaurant, Velvet Bar has been the place to visit for sumptuous cocktails in decadent surroundings for the past decade. KRO Hospitality has recently fully refurbished the bar, but still gives a nod to it’s previous sensation with subtitle hints of black velvet vails, dark moody walls with rose gold feature walls and smoky mirrors whilst embracing the new clientele and retaining the old.

Velvet Bar, Open 7 days a week, has live DJs on weekends and offers a range of drinks in fashionable, relaxed surroundings is the hub of activity on Canal Street and is also only a 10 minute walk to Manchester’s diverse northern quarter, Although Velvet offers a slightly different drinking experience from the other quality bars in the area, it’s still a firm favourite within the community.

The bar also boasts a quaint canal side terrace, perfect for those warmer more pleasant British days.
