Forty Seven

KRO Hospitality has completed the transformation of the Grade II-listed building at 47 Peter Street into a high-end 47-room luxury hotel. Originally acquired in 2018 for £2 million, the site has undergone an £8 million investment to bring a unique blend of heritage and contemporary elegance to the heart of Manchester.

The hotel is now home to some of the largest and most lavish suites in the city, offering accommodation ranging from deluxe rooms to luxury one and two-bedroom suites. Designed by architects LXA, the property also features an underground club lounge, welcoming both hotel guests and the public.

Forty-Seven sits in a prime location, surrounded by some of Manchester’s most vibrant venues, including, Albert Schloss, Revolution de Cuba, Dirty Martini, Club Liv, and Impossible. The hotel’s striking interior design seamlessly combines the building’s historic charm with a bold, modern aesthetic, creating an immersive luxury experience.

Originally built in 1868 as Lancashire House, a former shipping warehouse designed by Manchester’s Walters, Barker, and Ellis, the building has been thoughtfully restored to enhance its historic character while offering world-class hospitality.

Forty-Seven embodies the dynamic spirit of Manchester, with playful yet sophisticated design elements that reflect the energy of Peter Street. The result is an exceptional destination where heritage meets contemporary luxury.
